Here are five great tips to get your home ready for a profitable sale:
1. Contact us for a free consultation. We can give you tips on what to do and what not to do to get your home ready. There’s never any cost or obligation involved.
2. Making improvements vs. selling in as-is condition. What I mean by “as-is condition” is the way your home is in its current state. Whether you have an outdated kitchen, bathroom, roof, etc, we can assist.
3. Declutter your home. Walk through each room and see what you can get rid of, what you can pack away for now, and what you can adjust.

Is now a good time to sell your home? Well, for starters, interest rates are historically low, and money has never been cheaper. This means that homebuyers can afford more than they could in the past, and many are coming to the market now to look for a home to buy. It’s also a great time to sell because inventory is at an all-time low. Finally, home prices are going up and the possibility to get more than what your home was listed for is much greater.

Again, this can affect its efficiency.
2. Inspect your deck and patios. Check your decking for nail pops, loose nails, splinters, etc., and whether the sealing ne ...

A regular home maintenance schedule can save you thousands of dollars in repair costs down the road. Even better? You don’t need to be handy to keep your home well-maintained, so today I’ll give you a quick checklist to follow.
First, though, make sure you keep a monthly calendar. On the same day of each month, write down what you’ll do and what you’ll check. Every Saturday of each month, I recommend setting aside 30 minutes of your day to do the following:
1. Check your HVAC or heater filter. This should be changed monthly or bi-monthly, depending on the grade of filter you use. Adding this task to your schedule will add years to your heating system.
2. Check your bathroom(s). Specifically, this inc ...
